This four-hour course will teach participants the art of creating wounds for simulations and will include demonstrations and hands-on practice. Participants will also learn what supplies they need to create their own moulage kit and will go home with recipes for creating various wound components. The 12 lead ECG course assumes an understanding of basic ECG rhythm interpretation and will cover the 6 step method of 12 lead interpretation. CE credits available for the classroom portion.
This basic rhythm interpretation course is for anyone that is required to interpret ECG monitor strips or wish to learn more about rhythm interpretation. This course includes online study and an optional live classroom session. The three module course introduces providers to normal cardiac rhythms and prepares learners to recognize basic cardiac dysrhythmias. Module 1: Basic ECG interpretation introduces the basics of ECG interpretation including wave labelling and the basics of lead placement and ECG paper. The Normal Sinus Rhythm is discussed in detail and sinus node arrhythmias are introduced. Module 2: Atrial Arrhythmia discusses how to differentiate an atrial dysrhythmia from a normal sinus rhythm. Atrioventricular rhythms are also discussed in this module. Module 3: Ventricular Arrhythmia discusses how to identify/recognize ECG rhythms originating in the AV Node (junction) and/or from the ventricle. CE credits available for the classroom portion.

The course and its companion text assist the non-ICU personnel in dealing with the sudden deterioration of critically ill patients.
ACLS for Experienced Providers goes beyond the core ACLS training by offering critical thinking opportunities for those advanced, experienced, healthcare professionals who use ACLS on a regular basis. The goal of ACLS EP is to improve outcomes in complex cardiovascular, respiratory and other (e.g., metabolic, toxicologic) emergencies by expanding on core ACLS guidelines and encouraging critical thinking and decision-making strategies. Through cooperative learning and active participation in case-based scenarios, learners enhance their skills in the differential diagnosis and treatment of prearrest, arrest and postarrest patients.
