This course includes a live, two-hour session where participants will be able to learn about and practice basic deliveries. Participants will be required to complete online learning before attending the course. While this course is geared for the prehospital patient, any medical professional is welcome and may benefit from learning about basic birthing techniques. EMS professionals may use this to accumulate recertification hours
This course includes a live, two-hour session where participants will be able to learn about and apply various splints including long bone traction and SAM® Splints. We will also cover tourniquet use and wound packing. Participants will be required to complete online learning before attending the course. While this course is geared for the prehospital patient, any medical professional is welcome and may benefit from learning about initial splint use. EMS professionals may use this to accumulate recertification hours.

This is a virtual course. Emergency Medical Patients: Assessment, Care and Transport (EMPACT)is a sixteen hour training program offering a practical student-driven approach to medical emergencies. The course format utilizes group discussion (small and large), case studies, and Socratic method to help both new and veteran practitioners alike better understand and refine the differential diagnosis of the medical patient.
The EMPACT course directs participants to effectively use and rely on both critical thinking and decision making skills to effectively treat medical emergencies. EMPACT focuses on clinical assessment, differential diagnosis identification and the treatment of medical patients. Topics covered within the EMPACT curriculum include case-based scenarios focused on: Medical Patient Assessment, Airway Management, Shock, Cardiac and Respiratory Emergencies, Altered Mental Status just to name a few.
